Here we try to answer some of the common questions you may have about whenUrent.
1) What is StudentTenant.com?
StudentTenant.com is a student lettings website which incorporates tenant reviews into the lettings process.
2) Is it free?
It's completely free for tenants to register, browse properties, read reviews and write reviews.
3) Can landlords and agents use the site?
Yes. Landlords and agents can register on the site and upload their properties so they may advertise them to prospective student tenants. Once uploaded, properties are then able to receive feedback from tenants. Landlords will be notified when these properties are reviewed so they can respond if necessary.
4) Are you a letting agent?
No. We display properties for letting agents, however we do not manage properties or arrange viewings.
5) How much does it cost for landlords to place properties on the site?
It's currently free for properties to be uploaded. Email us at info@studenttenant.com if you wish to feature a property on the homepage.
6) Can properties which have not been uploaded by a landlord be reviewed by a tenant?
Yes. The tenant can input the address and basic property details, then fill out a review on the property. Landlords can browse the site and claim properties of theirs which have been reviewed.
7) Why do some properties on the site have more information than others?
Properties on the site which have been uploaded by landlords and agents have more information than properties which have been placed on the site by tenants. Users can search just for properties which are advertised by landlords / agents, search just for properties which have been reviewed by a tenant, or both.
8) What do property statuses mean?
Properties display different statuses so tenants can determine their availability.
9) How do you ensure the authenticity of reviews?
