We are very excited to announce a brand new feature on StudentTenant.com - the Student Chat!
When you log in to StudentTenant with your student account you will notice the message icon on the top left hand side - your shortcut to Student Chat. Click on this and specify your chat settings. You can choose a chat room to enter, which is the campus location you are located in. Once in there, you can post and reply to other messages from other students in an open format and then private message other students also if required. You can specify your settings to be notified of new messages in any chat room you enter.
We also included a separate chat room for every property on the site making it easier for you to look for housemates if you want to move into a particular house!
Please remember that the area chat rooms and Chat Zone on properties are only available to students with a validated university email address. Landlords of the properties will not be able to see your messages on ChatZone, so if you want to message the landlord of the property, please use the 'Message Landlord' button on the right side of the screen.
