A guide to the London Borough of Barnet

Chances are if you think of middle class and prosperous you’ll think of the London Borough of Barnet. Located on the regularly serviced Northern Line, Barnet began its main period of growth at the turn of century and hasn’t stopped. Despite its suburban character, Barnet has a cultural edge that is steeped in religious history. London’s most established Jewish settlement is here, in Golders Green. Being one of London’s largest boroughs there are a wide variety of landscapes, ranging from suburban estates to sprawling greens. There is something here to appeal to many tastes.

While Barnet is large and prosperous, it is a borough of contrasts, with properties types ranging from multi million pound gated mansions to early 1900’s semi-detached houses and modern flats.
