Brent remains iconic as the borough that contains Wembley stadium, which sits in the heart of the small area that encompasses the borough. Although there is not much green space, Brent boasts a large amount of cultural icons, due to over half of the population being from a multi-cultural background. Of particular note is the Neasden Temple, which symbolises the large Hindu population.

While the borough can boast of having a significant number of above-average income workers, there are areas of deprivation spotted across the Brent.

The west of the area is full of Victorian suburban streets and rows of 1930’s Semis. The east, however, is a marked contrast, with rows and rows of terraced Victorian houses giving off an inner city vibe. This area remains popular with those wanting to be close to Kensington and Maida Vale but who can’t afford the higher prices of accommodation.
