Enfield is London’s most Northerly borough and can trace its history back to Roman times, when Ermine street was created leading directly up to York and beyond. Since then Enfield expanded into an industrial powerhouse and hasn’t stopped growing. Despite its industrial background, the borough has a laid back feel to it that attracts a younger population, giving it more students per capita than the London average.
