A guide to the London Borough of Hillingdon

Hillingdon is the second biggest borough within London and sits on the western edge of great London. Home to the world’s busiest airport, Heathrow, Hillingdon is not short on connection links with the rest of the country and even the world. Although the airport is what makes Hillingdon famous, the area is surprisingly full of woodland space and remains remarkably green.

Property in general moves more upmarket the further north you head to Ruislip and Hertfordshire, though there is a variety of accommodation available throughout the borough. The closer you get to the airport, the more issues you will have with living underneath a flight path and living with traffic jams caused by the extra traffic. However, you can still benefit from the sprawling countryside of Hillingdon in these areas.
